Terms of use

These terms apply to the use of the Screen-Printers Service website and to enquiries submitted through our contact form. By using the site, you agree to these terms and to the lawful use of the information provided here.

1. Acceptance of these website terms

The website is operated for Screen-Printers Service by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd. These terms govern your access to the site, your use of the content, and any enquiry made through the contact form. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not continue to use the site.

Screen-Printers Service is based in Hamilton, Bloemfontein and serves clients in Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, Thaba Nchu, Welkom, Bethlehem, Kroonstad, Parys and surrounding areas, with couriered orders available across the Free State and nationwide. The information on this site is intended for customers looking for custom screen printing, uniform printing, event shirt printing, school apparel printing and related services.

2. Enquiries, quotations and order instructions

Submitting an enquiry does not create a binding contract. Any quotation, artwork instruction, size list, colour choice or delivery request must be confirmed in writing before production begins. Orders are only accepted once the relevant details have been checked and confirmed by our team.

  • All artwork, logos and text must be supplied clearly and correctly.
  • Colour matching is done against the approved reference provided by the client where practical.
  • Size sorting and individual bagging will follow the information approved on the order.
  • Lead times may change if artwork is incomplete, garment stock is limited or payment is delayed.

For school orders, team wear, workwear and event garments, the client remains responsible for checking spelling, sizes and final print positions before approval. Once production starts, changes may not be possible without additional cost.

3. Artwork, logos and approved content

You warrant that any logo, image, slogan or other material you submit is owned by you, or that you have permission to use it. You also warrant that the material does not infringe another party’s rights and does not contain unlawful, defamatory or offensive content.

Screen-Printers Service may assist with artwork setup, layout adjustments and basic print preparation, but we are not responsible for hidden errors in supplied files or low quality artwork sent by a client. If a file is unclear, blurred or unsuitable for screen printing, production may be delayed until corrected artwork is received.

  • We may refuse any job that contains unlawful or misleading content.
  • We may request proof of permission for brand marks, school crests or team emblems.
  • Any reproduction of a supplied design is done on the basis that the client has the right to use it.
  • Final approval of spelling, colours and placement rests with the client.

4. Production, colour variation and quality checks

Screen printing is a manual production process and slight variation may occur between batches, garment types and fabric colours. Printed colours may also vary depending on fabric composition, print area, curing conditions and lighting. This is normal and does not automatically mean the order is defective.

Our team, including the production supervisor and quality controller, checks orders before dispatch where practical. However, minor differences in placement, ink density or shade can occur, especially on cotton blends, dark garments and small run orders. Clients in coastal areas should also note that humidity and transport conditions can affect turnaround if garments are held for collection or courier dispatch.

  • We are not responsible for normal colour shift between screen print samples and bulk production.
  • Garments supplied by the client are printed at the client’s risk where fabric quality is uncertain.
  • Any issue must be reported as soon as the order is received and before the garments are worn or washed.

5. Pricing, payment and delivery terms

Prices may change without notice until a quotation is accepted. Unless stated otherwise, all amounts are quoted in Rand. Payment terms must be met before production or release, as agreed on the order. Where deposits are required, work may only start once funds reflect.

Nationwide delivery is available through courier, and delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, route disruptions, load-shedding, public holidays or courier backlogs. Screen-Printers Service is not responsible for delays outside our control, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep the client informed.

  • Courier charges may apply and are usually quoted separately.
  • Risk in transit passes to the client once the parcel is collected by the courier.
  • Clients must provide the correct delivery address and contact details for receiving the parcel.
  • Unclaimed parcels, incorrect addresses or refused deliveries may attract extra charges.

6. Liability, governing law and contact

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Screen-Printers Service and Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, missed events, or damage arising from information on this site, late approvals, client supplied errors, or misuse of printed garments after delivery. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in force. For queries about an order, quotation or website use, clients should use the enquiry form on the contact page. No email addresses or telephone numbers are published on this site.
